Recently, we traveled to Ireland to visit my best friend. Although traveling with children might be hard, it was worth it to experience Ireland through the eyes of a three year old and a 6 month old. Our host did a wonderful job finding places for Dougie to play in between adult things like shopping and bus tours. As I think about my children, I hope that this is an experience that they will look back on and feel extremely lucky to have such awesome parents. Parents that took them on vacation to Ireland, not Gettysburg (Kidding, Grays! I've got nothing but love for ya! hehe).
Here are some of my favorite shots of our trip...for more, check out my facebook.

Sooner or Later.
Today I was taking care of my business like I do every day at lunch time. There is another mommy here at school that has an October baby, and we've worked out a really great pumping schedule. Since we have lunch at the same time, she pumps first, from 11:45-12:00 and I pump second, after she comes into the break room. Today was no different, she came in and I left to go do my business.
The pumping room that we have at school is an old locker room office. Our school used to be a Junior High, so the locker rooms are now used for storage, pumping and we have a boy that periodically needs changing and that is set up in the locker room as well. The room that I use is in the locker room, but has a separate door, a covered window and a desk that we pump at (Thankfully, it also has a sink so we can wash our pump parts!). Today, I was just settling in (you know, picture what someone might have to do if they are pumping their breasts, both of them, at the same time) when...
BAM. The head custodian comes barreling in! Seriously! The dude didn't even knock.
I think he was in more shock than I was, but eventually my supply came back and I was able to finish. How long do you think he'll avoid me for?

I'm leaving for Ireland in less than a week (Hooray!) I'm looking for travel suggestions and packing suggestions (anything but "Give them Benedryl!").

I've almost made it through the week. The week from hell....the week I was a single mom (I seriously don't know how women do this ALL THE TIME)
This helped me though...
Going to see a new baby tonight, Lilana Pasqualina Blasi (a second cousin for Dougie and Kate!)

For the next 7 months, the sounds of the Red Sox will be filling my home on a (almost) nightly basis. In honor of Opening Day, I tried to get the kids dressed up this morning in their Red Sox stuff and take pictures and here's how it turned out...
God, I love my kids!
